Assistant Accounting Manager | In-House, Credit/ Debt [Luxembourg]


 

Summary

A Global Investment firm seeks an Assistant Accounting Manager to join their hardworking and ambitious team in Luxembourg. The role is to support the European team to provide support and analysis on everything related to day-to-day transactions of various investments moving through the structure while working closely with the head office in the US on any finance-related projects.

This is a perfect opportunity for an experienced accountant looking to move “in-house” to join a well-established group operating on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing monthly management accounts, consolidated reporting, and annual statutory statements prepared by external accounting services.
  • Supporting the Balance Sheet reconciliation and review process; with any risks or opportunities clearly identified & communicated.
  • Coordinate the preparation and review of the indirect and direct tax returns prepared by external tax advisors.
  • Review of quarterly investment income reports.
  • Preparation of distribution templates.
  • Review legal documents prepared by external law firms or Legal teams for responsible entities.
  • Be an important link between management and junior staff.

Role Requirements:

The successful Assistant Accounting Manager joining this Investment Management firm based in Luxembourg will have a university degree in accounting and finance with a minimum of 5 experience; currently working as a fund administrator or similar experience with knowledge of Lux GAAP and IFRS; advanced experience using Microsoft Excel and ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
