We are looking for a Purchasing Manager.
As Purchasing Manager, we rely on you to
Implement sound purchasing policies, systems and procedures in accordance with Company standards.
Ensure the efficient operation of the Purchasing Department in all aspects.
Be responsible for all purchasing functions, quotations, quality and availability.
Monitor vendors for quality, service and price through standard purchasing specifications.
Obtain competitive quotations for hotel requirements and ensure that the best product is sourced and purchased.
Establish contracts to ensure reduced pricing for all operating areas of the hotel.
Ensure that all orders receiving dates are updated by the buyers according to the suppliers promised delivery dates.
Research and identify new products and services for the hotel in the market.
Verify that all documentation and proper quotations are maintained and filed according to Policy and Procedure requirements.
Ensure that the suppliers follow the rules relating to the hygiene of goods delivered (as per Company’s Covid-19 Rules)
Maintain all documents, files and listings up-to-date and perform their duties in the most efficient manner.
Train, coach and guide Purchasing team members for proper operation of the department and their career goals.
We are looking for someone who;

Has 3+ years of experience in similar role and extensive Purchasing experience in preferably Hospitality Industry
Has organization, planning skills and the ability to prioritize
Is rigorously committed to accuracy and detail
Has strong negotiation and influencing skills
Communicates and writes with fluency in English (as well as the local Language)
Is willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks.
