JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Area Sales Manager
Reporting Manager: Regional Sales Manager
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensuring area sales goals are achieved through the effective placement and motivation of sales and support professionals
- Assessing data provided by sales staff and implements regional sales strategies; identifies business opportunities and pinpoints problem areas
- Planning and leading sales force to execute weekly / monthly sales & collection plan
- Planning and leading the demand creation activity to ensure liquidation from C1 to C2 to farmers
- Exploring new sales opportunities (new crops/new solutions/ geographies)
- Actively calling on key accounts C1, C2 and assists sales force where appropriate
- Involved in decisions for commercial assortment and reference pricing, as well as for the product planning and logistics
- Recruiting, training , coaching and motivating sales reps and other field force to achieve area sales goals.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Co-ordinate with Area Sales Managers to build up promotion plan
Focus on key brands (Tarang, Kasumin, Butanil, Evito C)
SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Planning demand generation activities
- Guide and lead MDO, Sales rep to implement marketing activities
- Collaborate with PD team for trials, demo
- Monitor and collect market/competitive information
- Propose any innovative idea to Country
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Critical Knowledge
l Marketing savvy
l Agricultural background
l Basic agrochemical product knowledge
Critical Experience
l At least 3 years’ experience working within Marketing or other related positions in the
agrochemical Industry
l Proven track-record of successful management of complex business issues with sufficient
analytical and strategic thinking skills
Critical Skills
l Develop a clear objectives/plan and ensure delivery of results
l Strong communication, influencing and presentation skills
l Proven strong project management skill
l Proven ability to identify issues and develop and implement solutions
l Leadership skill for achieving business targets
l Native Level Vietnamese, fluent English is added value
