Job Description
Therefore we are looking for a radiofrequency engineer with sound knowledge of in-situ RF electromagnetic fields and skilled in using measurement equipment (spectrum analyzer, field probes).
The assignment
Within the framework of the European funded project SEAWave, in-situ exposure radiofrequency exposure assessment will be performed in different realistic environments (indoor/outdoor/urban/rural) using specialized measurement radiofrequency equipment including spectrum analyzer, mobile network testing solution, and personal exposure meters.
- Spot measurements of RF exposure of cellular wireless communications (2G, 3G, 4G and 5G) in realistic environments using frequency-selective exposure assessment setup.
- Measuring RF exposure of cellular wireless communications (2G, 3G, 4G and 5G) in realistic environments along a predefined route using drive test tool and frequency-selective exposure assessment setup.
- Monitoring of indoor exposure using personal exposimeters.
- Monitoring of uplink exposure using a mobile networking testing tool in realistic environments.
Location: Ghent
Candidate Description
· Experience in radiofrequency measurements up to a frequency of 6 GHz.
· Knowledge on operation and usage of radiofrequency measurement equipment: spectrum analyzer, mobile network testing tools, and personal exposure meters.
