Contract Approval and Billing Administrator [New Zealand]


 

MercyAscot is a part of the Healthcare Holdings Group and is New Zealand's largest private surgical facility with 22 theatres across three sites including ICU and cardiac intervention facilities.

We're looking for an experienced Contract Approval and Billing Administrator to join our friendly, supportive and close-knit Billings team. This is a full-time position based in our lovely offices at Ascot Park in Greenlane

Main functions of the role:

  • Accurate and timely billing of services
  • Interpret patient documentation and contracts to ensure billing is correct
  • Manage claim process with ACC and Health Insurers
  • Ensure processes actioned are in line with relevant policies and procedures
  • Build and maintain effective working rapport with referrers and colleagues
  • Answering invoicing queries and providing conflict resolutions

About You:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a contract and billing administrative role, preferably in a healthcare environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Superb organisation and time management skills
  • Great interpersonal skills with a positive, can-do attitude
