  • The Ferry Flight Coordinator is responsible for all types of activities leading to an
efficient and successful ferry flight departure of a newly delivered aircraft to the
customer from Tianjin (China) to final destination.
  • This position also includes the responsibility to coordinate with the EU Flyaway
Service department to ensure an efficient and successful ferry flight departure for
all non-Chinese customers.

Main activities:


  • Arranges with the customer/operator well before aircraft delivery all details
required by Airbus to prepare for the respective ferry flight departure.
  • Performs a Ferry Flight Meeting with customers, Dispatch Office and all required
Airbus departments at start of customer ground check to arrange ferry flight
departure and subsequent flight routing.
  • Coordinates with EU colleagues to provide Flyaway Service package for
non-Chinese customers in case need to
  • Coordinates catering, fuelling, aircraft servicing and pushback for departure with
all involved departments in due time.
  • In case of departure delays, ensures information flow to all affected organisations
and coordinates new departure slots with them.
  • Releases the aircraft departure messages to internal and external organisations
after aircraft departure and provides stand-by services until take-off.
  • Reviews ferry flight costs and coordinates with ATDC finance department, Airbus
after sales and Contracts Management the invoicing process of chargeable
services requested and provided.
  • Establishes a filling system and keeps record of all ferry flight activities and cost per MSN

Outputs:
  • Financial Outputs this position is not influencing directly the Airbus
overall financial performance but cost saving and or
cost reduction mind set shall prevail.
  • Client related Outputs:office dress “business casual”, friendly and
supportive towards colleagues and customers, good
behaviour, proactive thinking and acting.
  • Operational Outputs: overall target is a “satisfied customer” with an
average CSIP rating not less than 90%. No
disturbances due to shortfalls in main activity
performance is acceptable
  • Developmental Outputs: experience gained through training adapted into
the daily way of working process.

Input

  • Education: bachelor or above in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Experience: experiences with customer related works is a plus
  • Basic Skills: proficient computer skills with sound knowledge of Excel,
word, PowerPoint; native Chinese speaker, fluent in
English – written and spoken.
